Company residence in Malaysia – One is too many
The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia has issued Public Ruling No 5/2011 dated 16 May 2011 dealing with residence status of companies and bodies of persons. The Ruling is effective for the year of assessment 2011 and later. Management and control of the business of a company is decisive in determining the residence of the company.
